My Buona Vista Place was set up in 2008 as a one-stop centre for community interaction and social welfare programmes. It organises activities to encourage active ageing and community bonding. These activities include playing of rummy-o which helps to stimulate thinking and prevents dementia and weekly line dance sessions to encourage healthy lifestyle.
Apart from the regular social activities, the centre also helps to be an information point for those seeking and providing social assistance. During the disbursement of public transport last year, my Buona Vista Place assisted in communicating the message to the needy and was also one of the points of contact for information and collation of forms.
Trainings and talks were also conducted at the centre to equip residents with basic skills and knowledge. know more

Sunlove Home is one of the few charitable Homes in Singapore that provide for patients ranging from 22 to 75 years old. The social stigma surrounding the intellectually-infirmed has caused problems for families who want to care for their loved ones.
The Home offers compassionate help in rehabilitative programs, which include daily supervision to psychotherapy, occupational, physiotherapy and medical treatment. The objective of this half-way house is to ultimately reintegrate the patients back to their homes and society, restore hope to the individual, and to build their self-esteem and self-worth. know more
